Práctica Guiada
Las oportunidades para que los estudiantes practiquen habilidades en contexto, con el apoyo del instructor y también de manera independiente, ayudan a trasladar conceptos e ideas a la Memoria a Largo Plazo. A través de la práctica guiada, el instructor o facilitador libera gradualmente andamiajes, permitiendo que los estudiantes desarrollen su independencia. Cuando la información de contenido y los procesos se descomponen en partes más pequeñas y se otorga a los estudiantes tiempo de práctica entre ellas, el aprendizaje se fortalece. Esto es particularmente cierto para la instrucción de alfabetización, donde la práctica guiada refuerza las Habilidades Básicas de Lectura.
